The Cat’s Meow

Sometimes I just need to indulge in total cuteness with my outfits. This was one of those days. It started off with just the cute kitty sweater but then I just needed to keep on adding more elements of cuteness! I don’t care if I went overboard, I need to spread my cuteness love with the world!

Caught my Eye Friday

Here is some cool stuff I found around the internetz this week!

Like most of the world I am obsessed with Henri Le Chat Noir. But I feel akin to him in many ways, he may be my new spirit animal.

Le sigh

Continuing on that depressing note, this song pretty much sums up the fears of a generation in a truly funny sad a way.

Okay let’s cheer up please, bring on the cute stuff!

Check out these totes amazeballs shoes from Etsy seller Pony Chops. (Pictures link to shop.)

Each of these hand painted shoes are so unique and fun and are sure to garner a lot of attention and squees of cuteness! They run about a hundred US dollars, and they also take custom orders so you can get a pair in your size or a print of you wildest kawaii dreams.

In other cute shoes news, Fab.com is has some of the Twenty10 Hello Kitty Footwear on sale for the next few days.

I already have these two

Now I grabbed these two!

Asos is having their mid season sale right now, and a bunch of their Curve line is on sale. Here are a few of my favorites (Pictures link to site).

This cute nautical dress comes in red or navy and is marked down to $29!

This color is everywhere right now, and this top is only $22!

I got these zippered leggings in their last sale. Super comfy and only $20!

This beautiful Aztec print skirt is complete with a knitted pom pom detail, marked down to $32.

More collars please! And some detail to your usual Wednesday Adams look in this dress. It also comes in a pretty purple and on sale for $32.

Seriously debating on whether or not to get these shorts, marked down to $33.

This metallic shift dress keeps calling my name, and marked down to $45 it’s calling even louder.

And to close this edition of Caught my Eye Friday, here is the Queen Cat we must all bow down to.

How Cute is This?

This is probably on of the cutest rings I’ve seen in a long time ever!

The Flying Pig ring from Charm and Chain runs a little under $200 and is only available in a size 7 so alas it will remain just a dream for me. But seriously how cute, unique, and perfect is this? I just had to share it with you all.

And yeah I can’t stop thinking of this:

I promise I have some real blog posts coming soon, but for now have you entered my contest? Win a free item from Leading Lady!

Top: Domino Dollhouse size 3x
Jacket: Torrid size 1
Pants: Source of Wisdom via Torrid size 18
Earring: Betsey Johnson via Ideeli
Necklace: Tarina Tarantino via Ebay
Shoes: Rhett via ShoeDazzle

This Cutie Doll top from Domino Dollhouse is one of my new favorite things in the world. It is exactly as its name describes it to be. It’s so fun and sexy too, since the ruffled lace bottom gives a little hint of skin without the full crop top effect. And of course lace and bows are like my two favorite things in the world. The back of the top is also all lace so you can show even more skin if you are feeling adventurous.

The only drawback is that since it is a juniors plus item it runs a little small. I got it in a 3x although I could have probably fit in the 2. So for those on the smaller end of plus I would definitely recommend it. It’s on clearance now so get it while you can!

Speaking of favorite things, I also have to brag about my necklace. I have been lusting after it for a few years now but the $2oo+ price tag was definetely a no-no. Somehow I managed to snag it on eBay for just $30! Epic Win! I don’t know if it fell off a truck or what, I don’t really care either, I am just happy to have it around my neck!

Bags of Love Review

Recently I was contacted by Bags of Love, a UK company that makes bags, calendars, canvas prints, pillows, and a whole bunch of other cool things all from your pictures and ideas. They offered me a free gift of my choice to review. Being a fashion lover, I of course went straight over to the bags section and picked out the canvas Shopper Bag; and being a cat lover, I of course decided on a picture of my beautiful cat Marci.

When I received the bag I was so genuinely happy and excited, my mom laughed at me for yelling out “It’s my Marci bag!” when I opened it. Shipping was super quick; sometimes things I order from the UK can take over a month to get here, but it was probably took less than a week.

The bag is such nice quality; it is super strong and durable, making it perfect for shopping and travel, especially since I tend to pack a lot. I also loved that I was able to pick a color for the bag, making it even more personal. And the pink color just went perfect with my picture.

Everyone is seriously so jealous of this bag. Every time I wear it my mom cries that she wants one too, and we discuss what a celebrity diva Marci is that she is on her own bag! My boyfriend wants to get one for his mom with a picture of their dog, and my best friend didn’t even realize that it was my cat on the bag; she thought it was a model cat!

I’m pretty sure Marci approves of the bag too!

Overall I am very impressed with this Bag and Bags of Love, and I think many of their products would make such awesome, creative, personalized gifts. I would definitely recommend them and I thank them for giving me the opportunity to review one of their products.

Happy Nyan Halloween

Not going to lie, my Halloween was a bit of a bust this year. For like the first time ever it decided to snow in October leading to numerous power outrages and the canceling of pretty much all Halloween events and fun. Luckily though a few parties have been postponed til this Saturday and I will be able to wear my most epic costume EVER!

It took me awhile to finally decided on what I was going to dress up as this year, I went through a few options when suddenly the idea came to me just last weekend. I drew up a plan, tried to explain it to my mom, and then headed over to my local fabric store buy whatever was on clearance. I spent only about $16 and after three days of work, it was completed…

I WAS NYAN CAT!

I made the pop tart from some large pieces of felt, there is a small layer of stuffing underneath the pink part, then I hot glued some beads on to make pretty sprinkles. The rainbow took the most work, I felt like the Betsey Ross of gay flags! Then I just wore all gray, made a gray furry tail, and glued extra gray fur onto a pair of cat ears I already owned. For the finishing touch, my mp3 player has speakers, so I downloaded the Nyan Cat song and played it in my pocket to annoy people.

It was a lot of fun, even though the majority of people didn’t get what I was. I can’t wait to wear it again and I hope to get many more pictures in it to show for you all!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!
