So Sunday was Easter but right now I’m going to share my St. Patrick’s Day outfit. Last St Patty’s Day I was in Ireland, so this year and probably any year in the future could not and will not be up to live up to it. But this year I had my super awesome Dotty Doll dress from Domino Dollhouse, and all of my excitement went into wearing it.

Bracelet: gift from my mom
So I spent the day in a traditional Irish fashion having lunch at a mexican restaurant, o’margaritas and mc nachos, erin go ole! Then we ended the night at a bar filled with drunkenness and bagpipes!
I recently celebrated my 29th birthday. Eep my last year in my twenties, I really don’t feel that old, and I don’t think I’m ready for it. Well who really is? But when I was younger and I used to picture what my life would be like when I reached this age, it’s nothing like what I thought it would be. Well I might as well enjoy this passing youth while I can and plunge into my thirties in full force. Here is what I wore to celebrate the day.

For my birthday I asked for a chair, a very grown up present! I’ve been trying to redecorate my room a little bit and after turning my desk into a vanity, I decided I needed a perfect boudouir chair. I fell in love with this purple one from Pier one.
I love it when an outfit can completely change your mood. I had been a little depressed lately and I wasn’t sure at first about this insanely bright and colorful outfit. But as soon as I had it on for a few minutes, I started to feel incredible cheerful and silly.
I feel like I should be an extra on the old kid’s show Gullah Gullah Island; in fact I was singing the theme song for most of the day.

I had been admiring these pants for awhile and as soon as they went on sale I had to have them. I was looking for a top to go with them when I stumbled across this one. When I received it, it was much more over sized then I expected and I wasn’t too sure if I wanted to keep it. But like I said, the longer I wore it, the more giddy I got, and the more I loved it.
Do outfits ever effect your mood, can you put on a shirt or dress and your day is instantly brightened? I know when we wear ill fitting or things we are uncomfortable in, it can instantly dampen your mood and ruin your day. But what about the opposite effect? What are your go to happy clothes?
Eeep it’s March already, and I’m afraid I didn’t get too many outfits into my first Fatshion February. But good news, I’m starting a new job, and my birthday is coming up, so I promise I’ll have plenty more outfits to post. But for now, here are two leftovers from February.

Most of last week was filled with me laying around in pjs or wearing work out clothes, so I didn’t have much fit for Fatshion February. I promise I will try to make up for it this week though. I even decided to look for some outfit inspirations. I recently got a three month free subscription to Lucky magazine for my Kindle Fire; and I found this article called “I love my: white blazer,” which showed white blazer styled four different ways. I too have a white blazer that I love but don’t seem to wear often enough, so I decided to give it a try.
The first outfit featured the blazer with a white sequined cocktail dress and color blocked flats.
Being a goth kid for most of my life, white on white is something I have never tried, and honestly I was a little afraid of. I went with a more casual white tennis dress, and too my surprise I liked the look a lot. I still felt the need to break up the outfit with a metallic pink skinny belt. Also since it is still winter here, I needed to add leggings but decided to go with a light grey hoping not to add too much to the color palette. I luckily also have a pair of color block flats, which lately I have been wearing with pretty much everything! Overall, I thought the all white gave a very luxe look to a simple and comfy outfit and I would not be opposed to trying it more in the future.
